about
This track started life as the 7th instalment of my series Grandads Grooves. The concept is that a record is chosen at random from my Grandads old collection of singles and a song has to be made from it.
When I asked @eliatmusic if he wanted to be in an episode, he was excited to get involved. However, we quickly realised when making the piece that we had strayed far away from the original sample, creating a song in its own right.
The next few weeks we spent developing the ideas in the piece, arranging the structure and after a months work Dispersion was born.
Once the track had been created, we decided it would fit cohesively amongst the tracks on my upcoming project and made it the 3rd instalment.
